We celebrated a lot of birthdays this summer. We had a lot of fun swimming, playing on swing sets and hitting pinatas. Thats not to mention celebrating Edison's big 2nd birthday. It was a little hot but we had a great time swimming and playing with friends.

We also made our yearly trip to Lake Powell. This time Doug and I were both on vacation so we were able to go for a full week. We had a blast hanging with our Cali friends the Cave's, jet skiing, wakeboarding and freaking ourselves out at a cemetery! Although we did have some minor issues with the boat, it was still a blast!

Fourth of July this year was so much fun. We had a small BBQ with friends and later Edison had a great time with his friend Trentyn watching fireworks and playing with little sparklers. As Edison grows everything becomes much more fun!

Our last big adventure was going to Palm Springs for our friend Joe's 30th birthday. We had a nice relaxing kid free weekend. We stayed poolside, the girls went out while the boys golfed, and had a great time just taking it easy. It was a great end to my summer vacation. Things should start getting a little more hectic now that school has begun.
